Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations in support of restoration projects. This role ensures all equipment, materials, and supplies are properly maintained, inventoried, and readily available to field crews. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in job efficiency, safety, and cost control.

Essential Primary Functions:

1. Manage and track inventory for all construction materials, consumables, and tools.

2. Implement and maintain an inventory control system, which may be software-based or use spreadsheets.

3. Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

4. Procure new tools and materials as needed, analyzing cost-effectiveness and vendor relationships.

5. Optimize warehouse and yard layout for maximum storage efficiency and ease of access.

Logistics and operations:

1. Coordinate the timely loading, transportation, and delivery of materials and equipment to and from job sites.

2. Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate and undamaged.

3. Pulling appropriate quantities of materials, tools and equipment for each job, insuring the proper recording of each.

4. Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies

Equipment and vehicle maintenance:

Operative jobs duties include picking, packing, returns and loading/unloading trucks manually. You will rotate and be cross trained in all departments. 

Positions & brief description:

Shipping: Loading trucks, will be 40 lbs lifting consistently.

Returns: Sticking labels on boxes, lighter lifting compared to most other positions – may not have many temps in this position due to credit card/customer information.

Picking: Picking shoes from boxes, scanning code, putting in boxes. Need to be focused, have attention to detail skills, and be able to work on a computer efficiently.

Receiving: Unloading trucks, putting boxes onto conveyor belt – this will be the most physical position with lifting and moving a lot.

Packing: Checking shoes that are in box to ensure they match the label and putting label into boxes. This can become a fast-paced job as there will be multiple boxes coming down the line at a time.

Lidding: Cutting off excess box lid that is not done by the machine and taking to top lid off of boxes, throwing lid into trash bin.

Manuel Order Start: Where we have someone manually scan orders to a totes for small batch orders.  We have temps at times help with making the small cartons for it, or pre-label the small cartons with our LP label before the cartons are made up.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk/stand continuously
• Ability to pull/pick product from cartons including scanning and placing them into another carton (requires turning, bending, reaching, grasping)

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and machinery used in pastry production

Job Summary:

The Forklift position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations using Raymond forklifts (REQUIRED EXP), pallet jacks, personal computers, and radio frequency (RF) equipment. This role requires strong physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The associate utilizes the warehouse management (WM) system to locate inventory, replenish multiple pick areas, and label incoming inventory. 

Responsibilities include conducting inventory cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and supporting inventory control audits. The role also involves completing daily forklift safety inspections, performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment, and rotating into other warehouse functions such as Order Filler I and II as needed.

Requirement's:

1. Must be able to learn WM terminology/acronyms and understand radio frequency functions to perform tasks. Must be able to learn OSHA standards and be able to demonstrate competency in safety workplace procedures. Must be able to learn Hazardous Material Shipping regulations as required to perform shipping related functions. 
2. Must be able to successfully complete a forklift certification within probationary period of 90 days and be able to demonstrate competency to operate a variety of industrial powered trucks safely.  An evaluation of the operator’s performance is conducted at least once every three years. 
3. Must be very detail-oriented to verify inventory information.
