Location: Cumming, GA

Shift: 7 am - 4 pm Monday-Friday 

Pay rate: $32+

Responsibilities:

• Load the right components and follow the instructions to get quality products.
• Monitor and run the machine that places tiny electronic parts onto PCBs 
• Act immediately if there are any quality issues. Work with QA and Prod Manager to find a solution
• Maintain efficiency level of the machine by avoiding downtime & improving change over process. 
• Work towards meeting the cycle time of production and working with the production manager to improve the same. 
• Trouble shooting of basic errors generated by the machine 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Competence in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS), must have worked in SMD lines in earlier experience. Otherwise, a knowledge and experience to handle machine interface.
• Willingness to learn and work in other areas of production like testing, assembly, warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
• Communication in English is required and have knowledge to understand the work instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

•    Operate fabricating machines, such as saws, shears, routers, benders, brakes, presses and punches, that cut, shape and bend metal plates, sheets and tubes.

•    Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.

•    Operate metal working equipment including saws, drill presses, punch presses, pipe benders, press brakes, routers along with a variety of portable and hand tools.

•    Perform quality checks to verify the manufactured products meets all standards and requirements.

Job Requirements:

•    Experience with hand tools and working in a manufacturing setting preferred.

•    Possess a high degree of attention to detail, patience and hand-eye coordination

•    Proficiency with math, all units of measurement, metric, fractions, decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio and percent

•    Ability to use and understand a tape measure, caliper, protractor, and related tools.

•    Must be able to meet high production demands in a timely manner and complete high-quality work with expertise.

•    Ability to safely lift up to fifty pounds.

•    Ability to be extremely safety conscious and adhere to all safety processes and procedures.

•    Ability and willingness to follow and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing metal surfaces by sanding, grinding, and polishing to meet required finish and quality standards. This position requires precision, physical stamina, and experience with hand and power tools commonly used in metal finishing. 

Looking to learn this trade? Training will be provided for serious applicants that want to grow with the company. 

• Skills:

  • Proficient with belt sanders, angle grinders, orbital sanders, and other surface prep tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with aluminum.

• Prior work in a metal fabrication or welding shop.
