Job Description
Axiom Staffing is currently seeking Welders that have MIG & TIG experience for 2nd & 3rd shift in Hanover, PA. for a Metal Manufacturing company.
Contract-to-hire opportunity
Duties:
• Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily.
• Reading and understanding blueprints and weld symbols
• Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing
• Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met
• Notify supervision of faulty equipment and defective materials
• Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture
• Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Fabrication experience
- Exceptional math skills
- Candidates need to supply their own equipment helmet, sleeve or apron & welding gloves
- required to take a welding test with client
- Thorough knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols
- 1- year or more of both MIG and TIG Welding experience
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to utilize measuring & power tools
