Welding Associate

Job Description
Axiom Staffing is seeking qualified Welders/Fabricators for a metal manufacturing client in York, PA.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Fabricate & weld crane suspended material handling equipment.
- Assist team of other welders to complete large fabrication projects.
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering on new designs.
- Repair work, as required, on units returned by customers.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Working knowledge of standard welding / fabrication equipment and measuring tools.
- In possession of certificate or capable of passing welding certification test for AWS D14.1 (flat, horizontal positions to unlimited thickness) using SMAW and GMAW processes.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience with heavy fabrication of welded steel structures
- High school diploma or equivalent.
