Axiom Staffing is hiring for an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) Assembly and Warehouse Operator in Cumming, GA.
In this role, you will primarily handle the receipt of materials in the ERP system, as well as the picking and shipping of goods to customers. The operator will also be trained and assigned to work in wave soldering, selective soldering (including testing), de-paneling, and manual assembly & packing as needed.

Location: Cumming, GA
Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly processes such as manual assembly, automated soldering, and testing.

• Follow defined work instructions and guidelines for each process.

• Act immediately to address quality issues and work with QA and the Production Manager to find solutions.

• Maintain machine efficiency by minimizing downtime and improving changeover processes.

• Work toward meeting production cycle times and collaborate with the Production Manager on improvements.

• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.

• Troubleshoot basic machine errors with support and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS); preferred experience in warehouse operations, electronic product assembly, and testing.

• Valid forklift license and ability to operate equipment for pallet storage in racks.

• Proficiency with computers and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

• Willingness to learn and work in other production areas such as automated machine processes (SMD), assembly, and testing.

• Ability to communicate in English and understand work instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout most of the workday.

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a warehouse environment where temperatures and noise levels may vary.
