Job Title: Turret (Crown) Forklift Operator
Location: Savannah, GA
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour (increases to $19.00 per hour upon permanent hire)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Mondays may extend to 6:00-7:00 PM, with a few hours of overtime each week)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Turret (Crown) Forklift Operator to join a new warehouse in Savannah, GA. This is an immediate need position, and the successful candidate will be operating the turret truck for the majority of their workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a turret forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products.
- Efficiently handle products in a manner that ensures safety and productivity.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the turret forklift.
- Accurately record inventory movements and maintain proper documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a TURRET CROWN forklift.
- Proven track record of safety and efficiency in forklift operations.
- Ability to work extended hours, particularly on Mondays, and handle occasional overtime.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
