Job Description
Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a traffic clerk at a company in Littlestown, Pa.
A Traffic Clerk is responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to traffic management. This includes receiving/releasing orders, preparing paperwork, routing orders for LTL and T/L on time, and communicating with customers and sales.
Traffic Clerk Duties
- Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, and logging of outbound and inbound orders.
- Checking documents for accuracy.
- Direct communication with customers and sales.
- Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping.
- Process paperwork for inbound and outbound loads.
- Ensure that all shipping and Receiving (BOL) documents are completed accurately and on time.
- Compile and maintain records for inbound and outbound shipments..
Traffic Clerk Skills
- Accuracy and Attention to detail.
- Good organizational and problem–solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Communication.
- Able to multitask.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Basic MS Excel and Outlook experience
- Verbal and written communication is required.
- 1 year of warehouse distribution experience is a plus.
- ERP experience is a plus
