Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Technician Machine & Process position in Cumming, GA. This role supports PCBA production in a new, modern facility. The Technician will optimize production processes, support new product qualifications, and help maintain production quality and equipment uptime.

Responsibilities

• Optimize production line output across equipment such as:

  • Laser marker, screen printer (DEK/ASM)

  • SPI (SAKI) and AOI (SAKI)

  • Pick-and-place machines (Yamaha)

  • Reflow oven (Victronic)

  • Wave and selective soldering machines (ERSA)

  • Depanel machine
    (Most equipment is less than three years old.)

• Analyze production data to refine process parameters and reduce false calls and defects

• Support qualification and launch of new products into production

• Provide basic customer support related to production activities

• Perform minor preventive maintenance to minimize downtime

• Coordinate external maintenance and ensure work is completed on schedule

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues during production runs

• Ensure production meets IPC-610, J-STD-001, customer, and internal quality standards

• Work with QA/QC to address process-related quality concerns

• Ensure ESD and MSL procedures are followed

• Assist in production when needed based on workload

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in electronic manufacturing handling similar equipment

  • (Experience with every machine is not required — training provided)

• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

• Basic computer skills for machine operation and reporting

• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable communicating in English with colleagues across locations
