Axiom is seeking a Technician for a manufacturer of telescopic antenna masts, located in Winchester, VA. This is potentially a Direct Hire position.

Job duties and responsibilities for the Technician position include:

• Keeping facilities (shop and all work areas inside and out) organized and clean at all times
• Complete assigned tasks in given timeline
• Manufacturing and assembly of products following drawings, assembly routers, and material documentation
• Could be asked to attend certain production meetings to give advice/share knowledge of certain situations
• Organize inventory through Receiving procedures and obtain counts as needed
• Perform minor building maintenance and upkeep
• Adhere to all company policies and expectations

Requirements for consideration for the Technician position include the following:

• Moderate to advanced knowledge of standard hand and power tools
• Must be able to create good working relationships with all personnel
• Operate fork lifts
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Must be comfortable interacting with customers and present professional mannerism at all times
• Willing to travel as necessary to complete different tasks, this can be from training customers on our equipment to performing maintenance and traveling with the Marketing Dept when support is needed
• Understand general manufacturing processes from shipping/receiving to inventory management
• Have a general to moderate level of computer knowledge, will need to communicate through email and learn how to navigate through our various network resources.
• Optional: Capable of driving commercial vehicle with or without trailer- standard ¾ ton truck and 21’ flat deck trailer, by completing an in-house driving test
• Must be able to obtain security clearance to enter military bases and secure facilities.
