Accounts Payable Coordinator
1st Shift / Monday - Friday
McDonough, GA
**Experience Required**
Axiom Staffing is currently hiring Accounts Payable Coordinator for our client, located in McDonough, GA.
Job Duties:
- Verify invoices matched to purchase orders and receiving reports and enter invoices into the computer system
- Process check requests and miscellaneous payments ensuring all appropriate approvals have been received
- Prepare checks and invoices for mailing, file check copies and invoices after payment, ensuring bills are paid timely and accurately
- Coordinate payments to cash worksheet
- Reconcile invoices to supplier’s statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly sales tax returns
- Back-up support to receptionist and accounts receivable
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of accounts payable experience
- General knowledge of accounting and understanding of the general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices
- Experience with general accounting software, prefer previous experience with Infor (Syteline).
- Proficient with MS Office, including Excel and Word
- Advanced in MS Excel (V-lookups and Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook
