Are you a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Manager with a strong background in high-volume vertically integrated manufacturing operations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager with a focus on Engineering. Someone who has experience in a Make to Stock high volume manufacturing operation. 

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure the company's mission of delivering top-quality products on schedule, while meeting efficiency and productivity targets.
• Provide guidance to the production team and foster collaboration with departments such as EHS, Planning, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Finance to optimize production flow and achieve established goals.
• Develop and execute manufacturing strategies to maximize asset utilization and operational efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and employee safety attitudes.
• Implement cost-effective measures to minimize manufacturing expenses and maximize profitability.
• Ensure the attainment of business objectives and production schedules, surpassing customer expectations for product standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices throughout the organization.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal condition of production equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing; CPIM certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing and engineering roles.
• Expertise in manufacturing engineering, including M&I flow, standard operations, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Infor/Siteline is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on mentality.
• Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing, preferably in both high-volume and high-mix environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate and lead in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Capacity to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
