Axiom Staffing is seeking motivated and reliable candidates for multiple forklift positions available for a local food manufacturing company to the Hanover, PA area. This company has both sit down and stand up forklift opportunities! 

Job Duties

1. Performs routine warehouse duties such as but not limited to cycle counts, location changes, spill reports and housekeeping functions, as directed by the Freezer Warehouse Supervisor or Leadperson.
2. Helps load and unload trucks and does the necessary paperwork in a timely and detailed manner as outlined in the procedure’s manual.
3. Checks and confirms that the wheels are chocked in the trailers being loaded. Trailers need to be locked out prior to entering.
4. Drives a standup or sit down forklift to transport cases from the warehouse dock for subsequent trailer loading.
5. Checks merchandise being received with bill of lading to ensure accuracy.
6. Ensures that the loading and unloading is done properly to avoid trailer damage.
7. Checks and maintains daily forklift batteries (following outlined procedures).
8. Responsible for physically lifting up to 100 pounds.

These positions are temp to hire, with good attendance and the willingness to learn - you can get hired on within 30 days. Opportunity for growth once hired on.
