Restoration Warehouse Manager

Axiom Staffing has a Warehouse Manager direct hire opening at a Restoration Company in Hanover, PA.
Salary: 50k BOE
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations in support of restoration projects. This role ensures all equipment, materials, and supplies are properly maintained, inventoried, and readily available to field crews. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in job efficiency, safety, and cost control.
Essential Primary Functions:
1. Manage and track inventory for all construction materials, consumables, and tools.
2. Implement and maintain an inventory control system, which may be software-based or use spreadsheets.
3. Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
4. Procure new tools and materials as needed, analyzing cost-effectiveness and vendor relationships.
5. Optimize warehouse and yard layout for maximum storage efficiency and ease of access.
Logistics and operations:
1. Coordinate the timely loading, transportation, and delivery of materials and equipment to and from job sites.
2. Receive, inspect, and document incoming deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate and undamaged.
3. Pulling appropriate quantities of materials, tools and equipment for each job, insuring the proper recording of each.
4. Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies
Equipment and vehicle maintenance:
1. Oversee a company tool tracking system and manage the maintenance and repair of company equipment and vehicles.
2. Ensure all warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is maintained and operated safely.
3. Arrange for outside equipment rentals as needed for projects.
Leadership and personnel:
1. Supervise and train warehouse staff, which may include drivers and laborers.
2. Create work schedules and assign daily tasks to warehouse personnel
3. Lead by example to motivate the warehouse team and ensure high productivity.
4. Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and handle disciplinary issues
Skills and Equipment Knowledge Requirements:
1. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
2. Ability to utilize common hand tools
3. Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Computer literate.
6. Ability to operate a forklift
7. Ability to clear snow from parking lot.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Preferred Associates Degree or experience equivalent.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Preferred 2 years of relevant construction experience.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
1. Valid Driver’s License with clean safety driving record
2. Clean Criminal history
3. OSHA certification
4. DOT License
