Job Description
Axiom Staffing is recruiting for a high volume metal fabrication facility with openings for multi-skilled individuals with prior experience. Positions are 1st shift, 5:30-3:30, Monday through Thursday, with Friday OT from 5:30a-10:30a
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience running a brake press/CNC/laser or heavy machinery within a metal fabrication environment; job routing instructions.
- Ability to read blueprints and select proper tooling
- Troubleshoot and perform basic mechanical maintenance.
- Familiarity using essential fabrication tools (saws, shears, punches, etc.)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality.
Ability to set-up machine is not required but a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years prior experience
- Work in conjunction with other fabricators, welders and machine operators.
- Measurement, mathematical and conversion (metric-imperial) skills.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Must be able to stand for 10 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds.
The company features a 4 day/10-hour work week, along with a full benefits package after 60 days, matching retirement plan, vacation/personal time and generous paid holidays when hired on after 480 hours worked with Axiom.
Pay: From $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
