Axiom is seeking a Production Supervisor for a 2nd shift, Direct Hire position at a Manufacturing company in Strasburg, VA. Job duties for the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor position include the following:

• Establish daily, weekly and monthly objectives and communicate those to employees
• Maintain workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Guide and coach employees
• Monitor employee productivity
• Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Ensure production output meets established specifications
• Prepare reports on performance/progress and present them to senior managers
• Detect issues in efficiency and recommend measures to improve
• Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
