Production Operator

1st and 3rd Shift

McDonough, GA

Axiom Staffing Group – Locust Grove Branch is seeking experienced Production Operators to add to the team!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Performs general production activities to ensure efficient production of high-quality products

· Operates thermoforming, automation, and auxiliary equipment (i.e., case tapers, grinders, stackers)

· Inspects finished or in-process products against company standards and specifications for irregularities or rejection

· Ensures compliance with regards to line clearance, raw materials, in-process inspection, manufacturing, and housekeeping

· Conducts basic preventative maintenance, cavity changes and other technical duties.

· Troubleshoots machine or quality issues

· Maintains documentation and performs administrative tasks relevant to plant operations

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum 3-month experience in a related field, quality inspection or manufacturing environment

· Strong proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Access), experience in data acquisition preferred

· Read micrometers and calipers, digital force gauge, protractors, pressure gauges, temperature thermocouples

Ability to commute/relocate:

• McDonough, GA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
