Paint Prep Technician
Job Description
Axiom Staffing is recruiting for a Paint Prep Technician in Greencastle, PA:
- Candidate will be responsible for preparing metal, or other surfaces, for industrial painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and a flawless finish, working with various hand/power tools and chemicals while strictly following safety protocols and quality standards.
- Duties include: surface cleaning, sanding & grinding, masking & taping, priming, equipment operation, quality control, and general housekeeping
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p
- Candidate will ideally have, or be able to get, their own sanders, hammer and mini grinder
- Pay based on experience starting at $15-16/hr
