Axiom is seeking Packaging Machine Operators for a Food Production company in Winchester, VA. These positions are a 30 day contract to perm!

Job duties for the Packaging Machine Operator position include the following:

• Operate packaging machines
• Inspect product and packaging material
• Report and document any defective packaging or product
• Make all packaging and equipment changes and repairs as needed/assigned
• Operate and/or troubleshoot all equipment within packaging department
• Communicate with team mates and leadership, any changes and/or problems that may occur
• Clean machines and work area throughout entirety of shift
• Maintain an acceptable attendance level
• 30 Day Contract to Permanent!
• 12 hour shift, 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 schedule between Sunday and Saturday (work 3-4 days per week)
• $18.50/hr to start, increase once hired perm!

Requirements for consideration for the Packaging Machine Operator position include:

• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
• Works well and communicates clearly with team mates and all levels of employees at the facility
• Packaging Machine experience preferred
• Machine operating experience preferred
• Experience working in Food Production preferred
• Must be available to work 12 hour night shift
