Job Description
Position: Rigger OOG (Out of Gauge Cargo) Supervisor
Shift: 1st Shift 8am - 5pm
Location: Savannah, GA
Requirements:
- 5 years of OOG Rigging experience for oversized and over-dimensional items
- Experience strapping and chaining oversized items such as heavy equipment, materials and cargo
- Experience leading a team of 5 or more associates
Duties:
- Inspecting and preparing material to be moved
- Choosing the correct rigging equipment
- Setting up and operating pulleys, ropes, winches and other lifting gear
- Adhering to occupational health and safety procedures
- Dismantling the rigging equipment
- Facilitating the movement and positioning of heavy equipment, materials and cargo
- Operate in an outdoor yard and oversee team of 3-5 associates
