Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a Project Engineer for a client that is located in Winchester, VA. This position is 100% in-person (relocation assistance not provided). The Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical products and systems while ensuring compliance with company standards. This role collaborates with project teams, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop engineering designs; prepare production drawings.

• Recommend improvements to products and processes.

• Prepare accurate parts lists and documentation.

• Collaborate with project teams and interact with vendors/customers as needed.

• Follow company QA procedures and standards.

• This is a salaried position starting at $75,000 annually

Qualifications:

• Due to the nature of the role, US Citizenship is required in order to meet Federal Contract requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Experience with general engineering design practices

• Experience with standard and metric systems

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor

• Experience with Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel

• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
