Axiom Staffing is hiring for an experienced Electronic Repair Technician.
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Shift:
Monday - Friday 7 AM to 4 PM
Pay rate: 25+ (Depending on experience)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Position Summary
The Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and validating electronic equipment and assemblies at the component and system level. This role supports repair, refurbishing, and quality assurance efforts by ensuring electronic products meet functional, safety, and performance standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic failures using schematics, block diagrams, and technical documentation
- Perform component-level and board-level repairs (through-hole and surface-mount)
- Repair and replace components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, power supplies, and cabling
- Use test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, and signal generators
- Perform functional testing, burn-in testing, and validation of repaired units
- Identify root causes of failures and document findings clearly
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality control procedures
- Accurately document repair actions, test results, and parts usage in tracking systems
- Support refurbishing, rework, and audit activities as required
- Communicate issues, trends, and improvement opportunities to engineering or management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics
- 1–3 years of experience in electronic repair, lab, or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
- Experience with soldering and rework (SMT and through-hole)
- Familiarity with AC/DC power systems and power supplies
- Comfortable using standard electronic test and measurement equipment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple repairs simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC soldering certification (or equivalent)
- Experience repairing networking, telecom, or industrial electronic equipment
- Knowledge of ESD controls and quality standards
- Experience with serialized equipment tracking or ERP systems
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity for small components and precision soldering
- Ability to lift up to [60] lbs as required
Work Environment
- Electronics repair lab or production environment
- May involve exposure to energized equipment and electronic test devices
