Axiom Staffing is seeking motivated inventory and shipping associates that will manage the flow of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure products are received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This position is located in Alpharetta, GA. 

Pay rate: $17

Contract to Hire

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Perform regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and spot checks; reconcile variances.
• Investigate discrepancies between system counts and actual stock, and document root causes.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory transactions (receipts, adjustments, transfers, returns).
• Work with purchasing, operations, and warehouse teams to forecast demand and minimize excess or obsolete stock
• Unload inbound shipments (truck, courier, etc.), inspect contents, and verify packing slips and purchase orders.
• Sort, label, and stage received items for put-away into storage locations.
• Initiate receiving transactions in WMS/ERP (record receipts, note discrepancies, log damages and returns).
• Pick products for customer orders, pack appropriately (box, cushioning, labeling), and stage for carrier pickup.
• Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, manifests, labels).
• Coordinate with carriers / freight services for pick-ups, scheduling, and tracking.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year in warehouse, shipping & receiving, or distribution environment.
• Basic computer skills, comfortable using WMS/ERP, scanning devices, and shipping software.
• Preferred knowledge in NetSuite

Physical Requirements & Conditions

• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, and pulling of loads (up to 50+ lbs).
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Working in warehouse conditions (temperature fluctuations, noise).
