Manufacturing Warehouse Associate

Located in Stone Mountain, a company that manufactures batteries has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate to assist with daily operations of the manufacturing area to ensure quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail oriented and organized individual 2-3 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily upkeep of inventory management
• Transfer material from Warehouse locations to Production floor using Kanban system
• Work in cross-functional teams such as Shipping and Production to support the company’s objectives of timely order fulfillment
• Ensure that all packed items are properly labeled with batch and item numbers
• Receive incoming shipments from vendors and verify shipments against packing slips into ERP system
• Adhere to best practice manufacturing procedures
• Maintain clean and hazardous free spaces in accordance with company safety policy

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of relevant warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with Microsoft suite and ERP/WMS systems
• Familiar with Kanban systems
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and utilize a ladder
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Availability to work a flexible schedule around operating business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certified
• SAP Experience
