Job Description
Axiom Staffing is recruiting for an Experienced Manufacturing Purchasing Assistant:

Create, place and maintain purchase orders for materials and assists with the coordination of material and part delivery

Assists with the review and status reporting of assigned open purchase orders and status of delivery of those parts or materials

Assists with corrective and appropriate actions on schedule conflicts or delays in delivery of required materials to ensure satisfaction of production needs

Anticipate, identify and communicate issues to appropriate internal and external parties
-
Act as liaison between internal customers and external suppliers for engineering issues, quality issues, delivery issues

Coordinate activities to address and resolve quality issues including processing to recover currency
-
Maintain files, system parameters, records and generate periodic reports for distribution and review.

Provides direct assistance as required to other buyers and supervisor to fulfill financial control and risk management as well reconciling delivery and quantity issues with supplier invoices

Candidate must have experience in purchasing/materials
