Job Overview:
 We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Plant Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, particularly in managing cross-functional teams within operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and financials. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing leaders, and ensuring that plant performance aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the plant in all operational functions, including Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Financials.
• Manage a team consisting of the Operations Manager and Engineering Manager, providing mentorship and guidance to develop leadership talent within the plant.
• Review and analyze KPIs across all functional areas (operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, and financials) through weekly and monthly meetings. Utilize data to drive improvements and ensure alignment with the plant’s objectives.
• Ensure the plant meets all NADCAP, Aerospace certifications, and ISO standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to optimize plant performance.
• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, from production scheduling to inventory management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Collaborate with regional and global leadership teams to report on plant performance and discuss strategies for improvement.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence within the plant environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a strong understanding of managing a facility in the aerospace or automotive industry (metals experience is highly desirable).
• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and how they drive plant success.
• Experience in overseeing and driving plant performance through data and KPI analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of developing leadership talent.
• Experience with NADCAP and Aerospace certifications as well as ISO certifications.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both regional and global leadership teams.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement operational improvements.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in managing a fully integrated plant and driving operational excellence.
• Background in metals manufacturing or familiarity with the aerospace and automotive industries.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage plant finances, budgets, and forecasting.
