Axiom Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Soldering & Assembly Technician to join a leading manufacturing team in Alpharetta. This position is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components for electro-optical, night vision, and thermal products while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform soldering of electronic components, switches, flex lines, and PC boards
• Utilize hand tools, measuring instruments, and electronic fabrication equipment
• Complete work order, repair order, and production documentation accurately
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple assembly and manufacturing issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow quality standards, calibration requirements, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of soldering experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Experience using hand tools, measuring equipment, and electronic assembly tools
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to distinguish colors and work with small components
• Basic math skills required
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
