Job Title: Maintenance Process Technician
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Employment Type: Direct-Hire
Salary: $70,000
We are seeking a hands-on Process Technician to support production operations in Alpharetta, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who can operate and maintain industrial machinery, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and contribute to continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and adjust production machinery; monitor process parameters and perform basic preventive/corrective maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues using technical manuals and mechanical/electrical knowledge.
- Ensure products and processes meet quality standards; record production data and maintain maintenance records.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, compliant work area.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and downtime reduction.
- Maintain documentation, including work instructions and process records, and use computer systems for process tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
- Technical career, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with SMT/BKND processes, toolings, and equipment.
- Knowledge of thermal profiles, conformal coating processes, and process optimization.
- Basic Lean Manufacturing and PCBA knowledge.
- IPC 610 certification.
- Experience with equipment management, profiling software, Asys, and IPTE software.
- Technical English proficiency.
Work Conditions
Process Technicians work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between an office for planning and a manufacturing floor for hands-on work. The manufacturing floor can be noisy and hot, and the role requires standing for long periods, lifting light objects (up to 15 kg), and pushing carts of materials. Safety measures and PPE are mandatory due to possible exposure to fumes, chemicals, and vibration.
