Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Maintenance Operator in Marietta, GA! Resumes and Interviews will be required! 

Shift: 7am – 7pm, (3on – 3off, including weekends and holidays)

Pay: $18-20

Location: Marietta, GA

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Job Duties: 

• Reports to Molding Leader
• Keep molding room clean throughout the shift. Clean assigned areas at assigned time
• Complete daily machine checks and maintenance
• Alarm answering to achieve alarm answering within 30 seconds
• Troubleshooting and eliminating machine stops
• Scrap control
• Minor machine and auxiliary equipment repairs (water leaks, loader not pulling, heater not heating, etc.)
• Minor maintenance (loader filter cleaning, grease, lube filling, etc.)
• Assist Technicians’ and or Molding Leaders as required (i.e., 30/90-day maintenance, product changes, etc.)
• Equipment preparation (i.e., cleaning grinders, setting up dryer, etc.)
• Maintain material storage area, storing material in the proper location and posting of material identification signs
• Keep Molding Leader aware of any problems
• Molding Leader must be informed whenever a problem cannot be solved in 15 minutes
• Mold cleaning, related checks, and machine cleanup for non-start up machines (Dayshift)
• Complete required documentation as job is being performed/completed
• File documentation in its’ proper location
• Keep machines loaded with correct colored containers
• Exchange out full collection containers in a timely manner with empty containers to achieve no parts on floor due to overflow
• Place Kanban ticket in holder when new container is put into place
• Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime including “on-call” to assist production with equipment problems
• Report all accidents, injuries, and near misses 
• Packing product being packed with auto trayer
• Pull or set mold as required
• Perform other specific duties as requested, directed, and assigned

Skills & Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Machine operator experience and/or mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs frequently
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and meet stringent deadlines
• Forklift operation experience
• Injection molding machine (IMM) and robotic experience (preferred)
• Injection molding processing experience (preferred)
• Injection molding troubleshooting experience (preferred)
