Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Machine Technician who will perform preventive maintenance of machines involved in Electronic Manufacturing System processes such as pick & place, wave/selective soldering, PCB milling machines, along with setting up and optimizing process parameters.

Location: Cumming, GA

Shift: 1st Shift 

Pay Rate: $30

Contract to Hire

Responsibilities 

• Machine Operation: Load/unload PCBs, set up and run wave soldering machines.
• Quality Control: Inspect soldered joints for defects, ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610 standards, and make adjustments or repairs.
• Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning, monitor solder dross, replenish fluids, and handle basic machine upkeep.
• Process Adherence: Follow Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs), work instructions, and safety guidelines (ESD, chemical exposure).
• Documentation: Maintain records and report on production and quality metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with team members, and QA to resolve issues and meet production goals. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday.
