Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Wave Soldering Operator. In this role you will primarily works on the production line where electronic components are mounted onto circuit boards. The SMD/Wave Soldering Operator will also be trained to help with assembly, testing, receiving, and packing when needed.

Location: Cumming, GA

Shift: 7 AM - 4:30 PM. Monday-Friday 

Pay rate: $23

Responsibilities:

• Load the right components and follow the instructions to get quality products. Monitor and run the machine that places tiny electronic parts onto PCBs 
• Act immediately if there are any quality issues. Work with QA and Prod Manager to find a solution
• Maintain efficiency level of the machine by avoiding downtime & improving change over process. 
• Work towards meeting the cycle of production and working with the production manager to improve the same. 
• Trouble shooting of basic errors generated by the machine 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Competence in Electronics Manufacturing (EMS), must have worked in SMD lines in earlier experience. Otherwise, knowledge and experience to handle machine interface
• Willingness to learn and work in other areas of production like testing, assembly, warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
• Communication in English is required and have knowledge to understand the work instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday.

This position operates in a warehouse environment where temperatures and noise levels can vary.
