Job Description
Position Title: Logistics Inventory and Accounting Specialist
Location: Savannah, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
About Us: Axiom Staffing Group is in partnership with a large 3PL warehouse company in Savannah, GA. They are looking to add someone to their office who can also handle warehouse inventory and overall accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Input inventory data accurately and efficiently into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular audits and checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory records.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to reconcile physical inventory counts with system records.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, and take corrective actions to resolve inventory errors.
- Generate and provide customer receipts for products, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Work closely with the accounting department to reconcile inventory transactions and maintain financial accuracy.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory and accounting.
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and financial performance.
- Implement and maintain best practices for inventory control and accounting procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address inventory-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in inventory management and accounting roles within a warehouse distribution setting.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and accounting software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
