Axiom Staffing is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor at a local water testing kit manufacturer in Hanover, PA.

This is a full-time, first-shift position that reports to the Logistics Manager.  Primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of our receiving and inventory management processes. This role will lead a team of receiving and inventory professionals, ensuring that materials and products are received, stored, and distributed accurately and effectively. This position is essential in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting our commitment to delivering quality products to our customers in the expected timeframe.   

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of receiving and inventory team members.
• Oversee the receiving and inventory processes, ensuring that all incoming products are accurately documented, inspected and placed into inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our inventory management system.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and plan for replenishment.
• Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
• Resolve inventory related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all inventory and receiving activities.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Continuously seek process improvements and implement best practices in receiving and inventory management.
• Generate regular reports on inventory metrics and performance.
• Must have the flexibility to travel to multi-site facilities on occasion for up to two weeks at a time.
• Must have an APICS certification in CPIM (certified in planning and inventory management)
