Axiom Staffing is actively hiring for an Inventory Specialist in Alpharetta, GA!

Pay: $20.00/hr

Shift: 6am-3pm Monday-Friday

Location: Alpharetta, GA 

Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:

? Completely own inventory and inventory processes/practices in the warehouse.

? Perform daily cycle counts on inventory to ensure accuracy and integrity.

? Ensure inventory is pulled accurately and timely for work orders requested by the team.

? Properly put away products both physically and systematically (WMS - NetSuite).

? Continuously improve inventory practices with the team through training and enforcement.

? Independently handle shipping orders as requested by the shipping department.

? Independently handle receiving orders as requested by the receiving department.

? Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.

? Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and efficient operations.

? Prepare and generate regular inventory reports for management review.

? Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all inventory and shipping activities.

? Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.

? Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage areas.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, both physical and with an ERP/WMS system.
• Including experience in Cycle Counts, BIN management, FIFO/LIFO, etc.

Proficiency:

• Proficient in shipping (UPS/FEDEX).
• Proficient in receiving (serialized and non-serialized products).
• Experience with inventory software and databases.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar WMS systems. 

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Working Conditions:

May occasionally need to work after hours, as well as travel to customers, vendors, trade shows or customer visits. Expect up to 5% travel. Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 pounds, use pallet jacks and other tools necessary in a staging environment.

Warehouse and Staging lab environment, 90% standing/walking. 10% sitting. Subject to varied temperatures
