Job Title: Inventory Control Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Manager to oversee and manage inventory activities in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with NetSuite, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of forklift operations (a plus). This role involves ensuring accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory processes, and leading a team to maintain high standards of inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory flow and minimize stockouts and overstock situations.

2. Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations related to inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate handling of goods.
• Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to facilitate inventory processes (forklift certification preferred but not required).

3. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of inventory control staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance.
• Conduct training for team members on inventory management procedures, safety protocols, and the use of NetSuite.
• Evaluate team performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, forecast needs, and inform decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments, including purchasing and sales, to align inventory levels with demand and business objectives.
• Address and resolve inventory-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.

5. Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field, with a proven track record of successful inventory control.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite or similar inventory management software; familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Forklift Operation: Knowledge of forklift operation is preferred; certification is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and develop actionable solutions.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
