Job Title: Experienced Maintenance Technician

Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and performing mechanical repairs on all assigned equipment, including basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level (e.g., packaging, conveying, processing or facilities equipment, etc.).

Hours: 

12 Hour Night Shift 6 pm- 6 am

This schedule repeats every two weeks.

Week 1: On Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (Off Wednesday & Thursday)

Week 2: On Wednesday & Thursday (Off Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)

Pay: $25.00 + $2.00 Shift Differential 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, failed components, and facility.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM)
• Document Work Orders (WOs) and PMs using computerized maintenance management system (MVPone) for Plant maintenance functions.
• Some fabrication and/or machinist work; trained as required.
• Adheres to Maintenance and Repair costs while follow Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
• Assists Operations with equipment design/improvements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent general understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting by utilizing experience and deductive reasoning.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Required to participate in a stringent onboarding and training program within the first 720 hours of employment (no vacation time will be approved during this time)
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum 12 hours in one shift).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs.) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs.)
• Frequent bending, stooping, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or Technical Degree
• Possess a fundamental understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical schematics/drawings.
• Understand TPM Theory and Concepts
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
