Compensation and Benefits for the Mig Welders Welders

  • $1000 sign on bonus for 2nd shift welders who pass the weld test that will be distributed at $100 for the first 10 weeks. 1st shift welders who pass the weld test are eligible for the $500 sign on bonus distributed at $100 for the first 5 weeks.
  • The base pay for 1st shift welding is $13.50
  • The base pay for 2nd shift welding is $14.50
  • Ability to be hired full time within 60 days
  • Full time pay is $15.50 for 1st shift and $16.50 for 2nd shift
  • Excellent benefits once hired on full time with the company

Duties and Responsibilities of the Mig Welders

  • Hand welding operations (Tacking and Final welding)
  • Loading and unloading welding robots and jigs
  • Utilizing overhead pendant controlled hoists to lift and convey assemblies
  • Quality checks with check gauges and other hand-held measuring devices
  • Adjust part dimensions with hammers and mandrels
  • Utilizing hand tools such as scrapers to remove weld spatter from parts
  • Power hand tool operation – reamers, buffers, grinders, etc.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and clean-up tasks

Requirements of the Mig Welders

  • Flexible to work Mandatory Saturdays and Overtime
  • Ability to move large objects on a daily basis
