Icing Mixer

Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly | 1st and 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare cake icing and filling according to recipes and production requirements.
• Measure and weigh ingredients accurately.
• Operate mixing and other production equipment.
• Check equipment for cleanliness and report any issues.
• Track ingredients, batches, temperatures, and other production information.
• Enter production information into a computer/scanner system.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with the production line to ensure there is enough icing available.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer and scanner skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull large wheeled bowls weighing over 750 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work around common food allergens, including dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, peanuts, seafood, and shellfish.
