Axiom Staffing is seeking a 1st shift Stand-up Forklift Operator for our distribution client in Manchester, PA.

Hours are Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p or Tuesday-Saturday 6a-2:30p (must be able to work until 4:30p for mandatory overtime.)

Job Summary:

The Forklift position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations using Raymond forklifts, pallet jacks, personal computers, and radio frequency (RF) equipment. This role requires strong physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The associate utilizes the warehouse management (WM) system to locate inventory, replenish multiple pick areas, and label incoming inventory. 

Responsibilities include conducting inventory cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and supporting inventory control audits. The role also involves completing daily forklift safety inspections, performing basic preventative maintenance on equipment, and rotating into other warehouse functions such as Order Filler I and II as needed.

Requirement's:

1. Must be able to learn WM terminology/acronyms and understand radio frequency functions to perform tasks. Must be able to learn OSHA standards and be able to demonstrate competency in safety workplace procedures. Must be able to learn Hazardous Material Shipping regulations as required to perform shipping related functions. 
2. Must be able to successfully complete a forklift certification within probationary period of 90 days and be able to demonstrate competency to operate a variety of industrial powered trucks safely.  An evaluation of the operator’s performance is conducted at least once every three years. 
3. Must be very detail-oriented to verify inventory information. 
4. Must possess a strong work ethic to accomplish goals and Company objectives. 
5. Must be able to utilize interpersonal skills to work well with and for others within the department and the Company. 
6. Raymond Stand-up experience is mandatory, looking for at least 1-year or more of recent knowledge.
