Food Production Supervisor

Job Description
Located in Duluth, a food manufacturing company has an opening for a Food Production Supervisor. This person will be working with a team to help manufacture and pack food. You will have about 15 plus people report to you. Lots of OT! This position is first shift and pays up to 22/hr based on experience.
Job duties:
- Responsible for smooth operation as their assigned production line
- Ensuring all workers are in position and prepared for duty
- Verify that proper labels and any requirements for the particular job are being adhered to
- Inspect pack-out to ensure quality standards
- Complete paperwork/documentation regarding each lot
- Motivate team members to meet production deadlines and goals
- Train new workers on their station in the assembly line
- Assist workers when necessary.
Requirements:
- Supervisor experience 3-5 years on food production
- Available to work 6-7 day a week
- Must be committed to be on the floor with everyone else
- Experience in the food industry.
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
