Axiom Staffing Group is recruiting a Finance Analyst for a well-known manufacturing company in Middletown, VA. This on-site role focuses on cost accounting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to support manufacturing operations and ensure accurate standard costs and inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly close activities including inventory, COGS, variances, and reconciliations
• Review and maintain standard costs (BOMs, labor routings, overhead rates)
• Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations on corrective actions
• Support standard cost rolls and cost updates in SAP
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and support cycle counts
• Prepare cost, spend, scrap, and variance reporting
• Assist with forecasts, AOP planning, and business reviews
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain SOX and internal control compliance
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, $35.00-$50.00/hr depending on experience
• This position is a 100% in person. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must be local to the Middletown, VA area
• 4+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong cost accounting and variance analysis experience
• Advanced Excel required; SAP experience preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
