Extrusion Operator and Injection Molding
1st and 3rd Shift
Griffin, GA
Axiom Staffing Group – Locust Grove Branch is seeking an experienced Extrusion and Injection Molding Operator to add to our team!
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform typical polymer compound machine operations, basic set-ups, and completes required paperwork
· Monitors the machines and reports abnormal conditions to the group leader
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations and work instructions
· Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Job Requirements
Job knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Basic math skills
· Injection Molding experience
· Extruder Operation experience
Physical demands:
· Regularly required to sit, stand, and move around the facility
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
· Must pass PFT/Mask fit test
Work environment:
· Regular exposed to heat, dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
