Axiom is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a Direct Hire position at a Manufacturing company in Strasburg, VA. Job duties for the Maintenance Electrician include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform work on robotics, secondary equipment, Injection Molding Machines and related equipment as required
• Perform electrical maintenance, programming and trouble shooting of:
  • Robots
  • Secondary equipment
  • Molding machines
  • Vision systems
  • Air compressors
  • Vacuum systems
  • Cooling water systems
  • Sprinkler systems
• Direct and instruct maintenance employees
• Develop and write programs for robotics and PLCs
• Read and work with blueprints
• Create and build systems that adhere to company production needs
• Perform related duties as assigned
• This is a direct hire, 2nd shift position in a manufacturing/production environment.

Requirements for consideration for the Maintenance Electrician position include the following:

• Must be a certified electrician and/or journeyman
• Primary assignment will be 2^nd, but able to work overtime and other shifts as needed by the Company
• Ability to direct and instruct maintenance employees
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to develop and write programs for robotics and PLCs
• Ability to read and work with blueprints of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical within all plant wide responsibility areas
• Able to adapt to new technology of robotics and secondary equipment and assembly system production with minimal training
• Can create and build systems that adhere to company production needs
• Able to support all existing programs and assist in setting up new ones
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager
• Adhere to applicable quality and environmental system requirements, work instructions, and procedures
• Ability to work weekday and weekend overtime
