Axiom Staffing is hiring for an Assembly/Test Operator position in Cumming, GA. 

Location: Cumming, GA

Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM - Monday through Friday 

Pay rate: $18

Contract to hire

Responsibility:

• Run automated machines like wave soldering, selective soldering including test, de-panel and manual assembly & packing. The operator will also be trained and used for other processes as needed in the warehouse. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Competence in Electronics Manufacturing Systems (EMS), preferred to have worked in assembly of electric products and testing. Otherwise, knowledge and experience to handle machine interface with training.
• Assist with assembly processes, including manual assembly, automated soldering, and product testing.
• Act immediately if three are any quality issues. Work with QA and the production manager to find solutions.
• Willingness to learn and work in other areas of production like automated machine processes (SMD), warehouse (receiving and picking) and packing.
• Communication in English is required and have knowledge to understand the work instructions

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday.

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a warehouse environment where temperatures and noise levels can vary.
