Axiom Staffing Group currently has openings in Sparrows Point MD. at a vehicle distribution center.

We are looking for individuals that would be interested in a Valet position.

Hired on to company after completion of contracted hours

 Responsibilities –

• Driving the flow of vehicles through the VDC processes
• Operating carwash
• Operating Fuel Pumps
• First Point of Rest –FPOR- Battery Voltage Check
• Assist in Basic Facility maintenance as needed
• Cross training of increased skill levels in VDC IT systems as necessary
• Vehicle operation in a controlled yard environment
• Manual Transmission Operation is a must
  

Facility works a 4x10 schedule. Workdays are either Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri

• For Baltimore all positions, they are 4/10 shift model. Could be options for overtime on day off, or weekend work if volume demands it but this is minimal until 4th quarter. Time of shift is 6:30 am to 5:00 pm

6am-5p // M-Th / $22.58 an hr.

Overtime mandatory as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.  • Basic automotive knowledge, valid Driver’s License for any US State.  • This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing, reading, writing, and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.

For these positions all employees need a TWIC card is a requirement. The Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required by the Maritime Transportation Administration for workers who need access to the nation’s maritime facilities. TSA conducts a background check to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential. The process can be done online by going to the TSA website https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic or by scheduling an in-person appointment at an application center. TSA will require documentation like US passport, driver’s license, and birth certificate. Also, the candidate will be fingerprinted and take a facial photo. 

The cost of new applications is $125.25 paid by credit card, money orders, company checks or certified/cashier’s check. The client will reimburse the cost of the TWIC card on the first pay check.
