***Axiom Staffing is Searching for a Dispatcher for a Busy Warehouse in Garden City ***

Dispatcher

• 1st shift 8am-5pm 
• $18+/hr DOE
• Previous experience with dispatch in a logistics setting required
• Keep track of all Containers dispatched in and out of the Ports
• Knowledge of per diem/demurrage
• Previous experience with NAVIS required
• Dispatch drivers to and from ports 
• Preparing BOL's and other freight bills/invoices
• Interact with CSR Teams and LTL carriers
• Scheduling, coordinating and, arranging delivery of freight
• Knowledge of over deminsional freight (Flat-beds,Low-boys, ect.)
• Previous experience with permits
• Follow up on daily shipments
• Maintain records of dispatched calls, driver routes, and route changes
• Interface with customers and other personnel from various departments
• Resume required

Dispatcher Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• At least one year of RECENT experience as a logistics Dispatcher
• Outstanding customer service experience/skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express
• Strong multitasking skills
• Attention to detail
• Accuracy
• Time management skills
