Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail - oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on sanitation in a child care environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of a childcare facility.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
• Clean restroom floors, walls, sinks, urinals and commodes, stock bathrooms; clean windows and mirrors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas, ensuring a safe environment for children.
• Remove trash and place in proper containers for disposal.
• Ensuring the overall safety and hygiene of the facility, while sticking to strict child safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment through commercial cleaning practices as well as residential painting when necessary.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and general custodial duties.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
