Job Title: Corporate Travel Agent 

Industry: Corporate Travel Services (Government and Large Organizations)

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shift Availability:

  • 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Night Shift)
  • 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Afternoon Shift)
  • Flexibility for Weekend shifts as needed.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $57,000 per year (depending on experience)

Company Overview: We are a leading provider of corporate travel solutions, specializing in managing complex travel needs for large organizations and government entities. We are currently seeking experienced Travel Agents to join our dynamic, remote team. In this role, you will help book and coordinate travel arrangements for corporate clients while providing exceptional customer service.

Job Summary: As a Corporate Travel Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients with booking and managing their travel needs using Worldspan, a popular travel management software. You will work closely with clients to ensure they receive accurate, timely, and cost-effective travel solutions. This position requires strong experience in the travel industry, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist clients with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
  • Utilize Worldspan software to search for, book, and manage travel itineraries.
  • Provide expert advice on travel options, including flight availability, pricing, and travel policies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient booking procedures, while adhering to company guidelines and government travel regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to corporate clients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Process any necessary documentation, such as travel confirmations, itineraries, and ticket changes.
  • Assist in troubleshooting travel issues or changes that arise during clients' trips.
  • Ensure all bookings are processed in a timely manner, especially for last-minute changes and urgent requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and travel options to provide the best service to clients.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably with corporate or government clients.
  • Experience using Worldspan or other GDS (Global Distribution System) platforms.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and government travel policies and regulations.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts (7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.), afternoon shifts (2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.), and potentially weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
