We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual (English/Mandarin) and strategic Warehouse Development and Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in identifying, securing, and optimizing new warehouse locations to support our growing e-commerce distribution network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate acquisition, supply chain management, and equipment procurement, with a keen eye for negotiating competitive agreements and developing strategic plans for new warehouse sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Location Acquisition:
  • Research and identify potential warehouse locations that align with company needs and growth plans.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and pricing to ensure cost-effective and strategic placement of new warehouses.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents, property managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate property acquisitions.
• Procurement and Equipment Management:
  • Purchase and manage the procurement of forklift equipment and other essential warehouse tools.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Strategic Planning and Implementation:
  • Create and implement strategic plans for the setup and operation of new warehouse locations.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions and integration of new warehouses into existing operations.
• Supply Chain Optimization:
  • Act as a key point of contact for all supply chain-related activities associated with new warehouse locations.
  • Analyze and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring alignment with operational needs and demand forecasts.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on warehouse strategies and needs.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget adherence, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin
• Proven experience in warehouse management, real estate acquisition, and equipment procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and pricing.
• Excellent project management abilities, with experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in e-commerce logistics and distribution.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $150,000
