Axiom Staffing is looking for Assemblers at multiple clients in Hanover, PA.

The objective of the Assembler is to use the schedule and paperwork to perform their production duties while maintaining a high level of quality and performance standards. In addition to these functions, the Assembler will perform any additional tasks as assigned by the management team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Read and understand in English, the Work Orders, work instructions, and prints for jobs.
  • Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
  • Utilizes many different measuring devices daily to check and verify accuracy of work.
  • Knowledge of basic assembly operations, components, and materials.
  • Able to learn quickly and retain information
  • Performs daily maintenance of hand tools and sets up jobs as required to keep up with the scheduled demands.
  • Monitor quality of every assembly on an hourly period and help maximize output of product
  • Must communicate and work with Supervisor and coworkers daily to address any issues or concerns and any continuous improvement ideas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Previous assembly and manufacturing experience
  • Able to use numerous hands tools such as screw drivers, grinders, deburr, utility knife, sanders, buffers, pop riveters, etc.
  • Previous knowledge and experience working with 6S practices
