Axiom is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a Direct Hire position at a Manufacturing company in Strasburg, VA. Job duties for the Accounting Analyst position include the following:

• Establish and maintain accounting policies and controls, and fiscal controls
• Prepare financial reports and safeguard the organization's assets
• Maintain accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory, and management reports
• Processes all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
• Maintain accurate records and control reports
• Documentation of delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks
• Work with other departments including: Treasury, Purchasing, and Finance
• Drive standardization in payment terms and payment dates to support the corporate directive for managing cash
• Responsible for travel and expense policies for the company
• Other accounting duties as assigned

Requirements for consideration for the Accounting Analyst position include the following:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong sense of urgency, ownership and dedication to responsibilities and projects/task assigned
• Experience with QAD or another ERP system is preferred, but not required
• Punctual and willing to work extra hours when required
